Hoofddorp, 11 June 2019— Capi-Lux (“Capi”), the airport retail brand of B&S Group, brings its customers Apple Pay: transforming mobile payments to an easy, secure and private way of paying, which is also fast and convenient.
As of today, Apple Pay is an official payment method in the Capi stores located in the Netherlands. The mobile payment method is available for all customers from the ING Bank. The integration of Apple Pay is a great advantage for Capi customers. Recent research shows an increased adoption and usage of contactless technology, especially in the Netherlands. As Capi strives for ultimate customer convenience, this also includes being able to offer different types of fast and secure payment methods.
Security and privacy is at the core of Apple Pay. When you customers a credit or debit card with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device, nor on Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted and securely stored in the Secure Element on the device. Each transaction is authorized with a one-time unique dynamic security code.

With iPhone and Apple Watch, customers can pay with Apple Pay in stores, restaurants, taxis, vending machines and many more places. When shopping in apps or on the web in Safari with Apple Pay, there’s no need to manually fill out lengthy account forms or repeatedly type in shipping and billing information. Every Apple Pay purchase is authenticated with just a glance or a touch with Face ID or Touch ID, or a device’s passcode.
